Common questions
What does Soulthread Technologies do?
Soulthread Technologies is a technology studio whose team has studied and used AI since its early days. We implement local AI, install secure operating systems on phones, handheld terminals, and computers, and analyze data; we develop websites, custom applications, and industrial automation; and we build systems for hospitals. We also offer products of our own, from Diafa PMS to llamanager.
Where are you based?
Our team works from two places: Blida, in Algeria, and Espoo, in Finland.
Does our data leave the country?
Not unless you decide it should. We design systems so that personal and sensitive data is processed and stored on your premises or with a hosting provider in Tunisia. AI models run locally, and every external service a system touches is documented before delivery. In Tunisia, personal data falls under Organic Law No. 2004-63.
Which AI models do you use?
Open-weight language, vision, and speech models that you and your regulators can inspect, selected and tuned for your domain and for Arabic and French content. They run on hardware you control. On top of them we build proprietary tools of our own.
Can you secure our phones and computers?
Yes. We install hardened operating systems on phones, handheld terminals, and computers, with encrypted storage, the services that collect data removed, and the apps limited to the ones your work needs. The devices are managed from a server you control, on your premises or with a hosting provider in Tunisia.
What products do you offer?
Six. Two are ready to use: Diafa PMS, our hotel management system, and Read95, our language-learning app. Four more are set up for each client and priced on a quote: llamanager, for running AI models on your own hardware; eye contact correction for recorded video; WhatsApp and SMS integration; and branded video meetings.
Which languages do you work in?
Arabic, French, and English. The websites and apps we deliver can be made in any of the three, including right-to-left interfaces for Arabic.
Who do you work with?
Hospitals, clinics, and laboratories; public administrations and state enterprises; manufacturers and industrial operators; banks, insurers, and telecom and energy operators; and growing private companies.
Will we depend on you once the project is delivered?
No. What we build for you is yours to run. We hand over documentation, training, and source access as agreed, so you are never locked in, not even to us.
